NVIDIA Corporation in California seeks exceptional engineers to join the autonomous driving team to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end autonomous driving systems on NVIDIA chips in mass-production vehicles.

You will build and deploy LLMs, VLMs, and VLAs, collaborating with teams to deliver production-grade, safety-critical software. Strong Python and C++ skills are required; PhD with 4+ years or MS with 6+ years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building LLMs, VLMs, or VLAs from scratch
• Deep understanding of modern deep learning architectures and optimization techniques
• Proven record of deploying production-grade ML models for self-driving or robotics
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with major DL frameworks
• Familiarity with C++ for model deployment in safety-critical systems
• PhD with 4+ years, MS with 6+ years in CS/CE or related field

Responsibilities

• Design and train large-scale models to improve planning and reasoning in driving systems
• Build, pre-train, and fine-tune LLM/VLM/VLA systems for deployment
• Explore data generation strategies to improve training data quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI models in production
• Integrate ML models with vehicle firmware to deliver production-level software
