Job summary

The role collaborates with DevOps, NIH CIT, Security, and DBAs, focusing on integration, upgrades, and production troubleshooting in a hybrid Bethesda, MD setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and Django development for full-stack web apps.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and data integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Gitflow workflows.
• Knowledge of AWS services and secure identity/authentication.
• Proficient in JavaScript beyond basic DOM manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Own and modernize Python/Django capabilities and cross-application work.
• Lead upgrades of Python/Django lifecycle, dependencies, and APIs.
• Implement secure identity, SSO, and database integration.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and frontend components.
• Coordinate with DevOps, NIH CIT, Security, and DBAs across environments.
