We are searching for the best talent for a Senior District Manager, Hematology in the Chicago District.

This is a field-based role available within the Chicago area. While specific cities are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application. We invite candidates from the area to apply.

Purpose

Manage a team of Oncology Sales Specialists and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Directs Oncology sales team in the implementation of the sales plan to assure maximum distribution and market penetration of products within the guidelines, policies, and directives. Ensures equal and consistent application of established policies and procedures in the management of employees to meet or exceed sales goals. Directs operation of sales strategy and manages activities required to maximize brand objectives across sales and marketing.

Managing a team of field-based Oncology Sales Specialists who will plan and execute territory business plans for breakthrough products in Oncology.

Demonstrating business and clinical expertise while building a strategic plan and guiding the team to deliver sales results within an assigned budget.

Possessing strong leadership skills and building a high-performing, motivated and engaged team while developing individual talent and managing performance.

Connecting with internal and external customers and shaping our business to help the appropriate patients.

Working in the field with minimal supervision, adapting quickly to change and demonstrating an understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory and promotional guidelines.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.

Required
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of sales or cross-functional experience in key commercial roles (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics or Business Development) within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device or healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and motivate others to success
  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty (50) United States and willingness to travel as needed or required, up to 40%; which may include overnight/weekend travel
Preferred
  • Experience in Oncology, hospital and/or large account sales, and leading through complex reimbursement issues.
  • Prior people management experience overseeing a mid sized team or completion of a Management Development Program
  • Expertise in high-level planning and organizing and business planning
  • Experience in Oncology, hospital and/or large account sales, and leading through complex reimbursement issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
  • Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment
Desired Compensation

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $141,000 - $243,800

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Time Off
  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
