Job summary

County of Fresno's Fresno County District Attorney's Office seeks a Senior District Attorney Investigator to conduct complex criminal and civil investigations and to lead staff when assigned. The role requires meeting strict pre-employment peace officer requirements and a valid DOJ Intermediate certificate.

Candidates must have options: a bachelor’s degree, or 60 college units, or five years as a District Attorney Investigator in Fresno County.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Intermediate certificate issued by the State of California, DOJ, the POST.
• Age of at least 21.
• Valid Class "C" driver's license.
• Pre-employment peace officer status required under California Penal Code Section 830.1.

Responsibilities

• Conducts complex and sensitive criminal and civil investigations; may lead and coordinate staff work.
• May act in lead capacity including assigning, reviewing and coordinating tasks.
