Job summary

Built for the Badge is seeking a full-time, non-exempt investigator for the District Attorney's Office. Under general supervision, you will handle field service and legal investigations related to criminal and civil matters for prosecution and disposition.

An Associate's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice and at least three years of investigative experience in public service are required, along with a valid driver’s license and Nevada POST certification.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to an Associate’s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related area; AND three (3) years of experience in performing criminal and/or civil investigations in a public agency or in a sworn law enforcement role; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by Human Resources.
• Valid driver's license.
• Nevada P.O.S.T. training certificate – Categor

Under general supervision, performs a variety of complex and sensitive field service and legal investigative work involving prosecution and disposition of criminal and civil matters in the District Attorney's Office.

Education and Experience:
