Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses in Manchester, CT is seeking a Senior Distribution Manager to lead our largest distribution center. You will guide a team to move product safely and efficiently while managing inventory and service to customers.

Partner with Distribution and Transportation teams to optimize product movement, develop Supervisors and Associates, promote safety, recruit top performers, and drive department financial goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and minimum of two years of college coursework required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strategic decision-making skills.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new programs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to motivate others.
• Minimum five years of applicable experience managing teams in warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the largest distribution center and act as principal leader.
• Partner with Distribution and Transportation Teams for product movement.
• Develop a high performing team of Supervisors, Leads and Distribution Associates.
• Encourage and reward safe behavior.
• Influence direction and effectiveness of the Distribution and Transportation Network.
• Recruit and retain high performers.
• Develop department financial goals and meet or exceed those goals.
