Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a District Market Leader II to manage the Atlantic distribution center, ensuring DOT/I FS/OSHA and Dawn standards are met while achieving budgetary goals and driving margin through efficient warehouse and delivery operations.

The role leads front-line teams, partners with Sales, Finance and Customer Service, and utilizes WMS technology to optimize inventory and service. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a stand-alone site leadership role in a distribution center
• Minimum 7 years of management or supervisory experience
• Prior experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean methods
• Experience with WMS technologies (SAP and EWM highly preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Safety/Compliance: Adheres to DOT, IFS, OSHA, and FDA standards; fosters safety culture and training
• Warehouse and Private Fleet leadership: Safeguards assets and drives productivity
• Inventory control: Maintains accuracy and reduces losses
• Budget management: Develops budget and tracks performance vs. budget
• Customer service: Ensures on-time, in-full, best customer experience
• Team leadership: Recruits, trains, develops, and retains staff
• Warehouse execution: Oversee receiving, storage, picking, loading and maintenance
• Strategic planning: Develops distribution plans aligned with business goals
• Private fleet management: Oversees DOT compliance and related technology
• Matrix leadership: Collaborates across functions to ensure service excellence
• Dawn ambassador: Represents the company in the industry and community
