Job summary

Zanskar is seeking a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to drive the next-gen multi-physics well-targeting engine. The role is based in Salt Lake City with hybrid work arrangements, reporting to the Head of Reservoir R&D.

You will design, implement, and scale distributed systems to empower geophysicists and engineers in geothermal discovery. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in software engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and hands-on experience with cloud and containerized architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years software engineering experience in a business environment.
• Experience leading design/implementation of distributed computing systems.
• Proven skills in fault-tolerant, scalable architectures and observability.
