INA Solution in NYC is seeking a senior systems engineer to design, build, and scale low‑level distributed infrastructure. You’ll own critical systems, orchestrating tens of millions of Firecracker VMs monthly across a global bare‑metal fleet, and deliver zero‑to‑one infrastructure at scale.

The role demands 5+ years of experience, hands‑on expertise with Go, Rust or C/C++, and strong experience in virtualization tools, distributed storage like Ceph, and modern CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and scaling low-level distributed systems
• Deliver zero-to-one infrastructure at prestigious organizations
• Experience in startup environments and in-person NYC work

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale distributed systems infrastructure that orchestrates tens of millions of Firecracker VMs monthly across a global fleet of bare-metal machines
• Take ownership of critical systems challenges as compute capacity triples, including storage, networking, and scheduling at petabyte scale
• Work with co-founders and a small elite team to solve hard infrastructure problems from first principles
• Develop and optimize performance-critical systems using low-level languages (Go, Rust, C/C++) with focus on efficiency, correctness and reliability
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects enabling large enterprise customers and new product capabilities
• Leverage and orchestrate AI coding agents to accelerate development velocity and push autonomous engineering workflows
