Job summary

Apple Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a cross-functional display technology architect to envision, define, architect, and implement next-generation display features with direct customer impact.

You will collaborate with EE, software, firmware, system and silicon teams to architect hardware-software-firmware solutions and translate requirements into robust designs across domains, with a focus on OLED displays and advanced modeling.

Qualifications

BS in engineering with strong system-level design capabilities.
Experience integrating hardware, firmware and software in complex systems.
Advanced degree preferred for modeling and research aspects.

Responsibilities

Lead development of complex display features spanning hardware, firmware and software from concept to delivery.
Define HW/FW/SW architectures, interfaces, and silicon interactions.
Develop engineering requirements and specifications for cross-functional teams.
Perform interdisciplinary analysis bridging theory and implementation.
Prototype and model new display technologies and features.
Support hardware, firmware and software implementations and factory prototypes.
Define performance metrics considering power, speed and user perception.
Envision ideas to push display quality and performance.
