Job summary

Mad Engine Global LLC is seeking a Senior Graphic Artist for the Disney Parks & Resorts/The Disney Store design team in Burbank, CA. You will lead concept development and deliver trend-right artwork across apparel and accessories, ensuring brand aesthetics and timely execution.

The role requires 5+ years in graphic design within apparel or consumer products, with expert Illustrator/Photoshop skills and strong illustration ability. Collaboration with product development and sales is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
5+ years of graphic design experience in apparel, fashion, or consumer product industries.
Strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics, typography, illustration, prints/patterns, and brand work.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with other creative apps is a plus.
Strong illustration ability (hand-drawn and digital) highly preferred.
Superior understanding of color theory, composition, and garment embellishment techniques.
Ability to interpret and design toward retailer-specific aesthetics.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop original, trend-right graphics, prints, patterns, and garment concepts tailored to various businesses within Disney Parks & Resorts/TDS.
Create compelling artwork for apparel and accessories across men's, women's, kids', and seasonal programs as needed.
Ensure all designs meet Disney Parks & Resorts/TDS brand aesthetics, consumer profiles, and quality expectations.
Translate trend insights, market research, and brand strategies into commercially viable designs specifically for Disney Parks & Resorts/TDS consumer.
Maintain a consistent design identity across collections while pushing innovation.
Partner with SVP, Creative Director, and Art Manager to align on creative direction.
Work with Product Development and Production Artist to ensure artwork files, color call outs, and embellishment details are completed accurately.
Collaborate with Sales and Merchandising to support presentations, concept boards, line reviews, and buyer meetings.
Communicate and collaborate with other Sr. Graphic Artists to ensure timely execution of creative projects.
Build production-ready files including color separations, repeats, tech packs, and print/embroidery specs.
Review strike-offs, print samples, and pre-production materials for accuracy, quality, and color.
Provide guidance to Graphic Artist and freelancers as needed.
Lead portions of seasonal concept development and present designs to internal stakeholders.
