Job summary

Santander seeks a Senior Discretionary Portfolio Manager in the United States to design, structure, and manage diversified client portfolios. You will work with Private Bankers to tailor discretionary strategies across equities, fixed income, and alternatives, while reporting performance and maintaining fiduciary standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience or education.
• 8+ years of related work experience in portfolio management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, structure and restructure investment portfolios in line with client objectives and policy.
• Manage large, complex discretionary accounts and execute investment strategies.
• Review portfolio performance weekly and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Advise clients and implement investment strategies within open-architecture framework.
• Support commercial team with investment policy development and client pitching.
• Collaborate with bankers and other advisers to deliver exemplary client service.
