Job summary

Urban Dove is seeking a Director of Youth Development to lead a year-round sports-based youth development program and student support services. The role reports directly to the School Leader and involves coordinating with social workers and the Special Education Coordinator, overseeing budget, curriculum development, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree; ILL preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality work.
• Commitment to youth development and restorative practices.
• Knowledge of Special Education and IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Sit on the school's leadership team and supervise the Youth Development Department.
• Lead professional development and supervise staff.
• Oversee data tracking on behavior, credits, attendance, and scores.
• Collaborate with social workers and Special Education Coordinator on restorative plans.
• Manage department budget and equipment inventory.
• Organize sports-based events and logistics and attend athletic competitions.
