Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Sr. Director, US Regulatory Legal to provide strategic leadership across PayPal’s US federal and state regulatory relationships, and interface with US supervisory authorities.

You will advise executive leadership on regulatory risk and strategy as PayPal expands its regulated products and services, leading a team of US regulatory attorneys and collaborating with cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• 12+ years relevant experience in regulatory law or equivalent.
• JD required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of US regulatory attorneys and professionals across multiple jurisdictions.
• Serve as lead counsel on US federal and state financial services regulatory matters.
• Advise on product development and strategic initiatives requiring US regulatory approval or clearance.
• Monitor emerging US regulatory developments and develop proactive compliance strategies.
