Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Sr. Director, US Regulatory Legal to provide strategic leadership across US federal and state regulatory relationships.

You will be the primary interface with US supervisory authorities and advise executive leadership on regulatory risk as PayPal expands its regulated products and services. You will manage a team of attorneys, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and influence long-term regulatory strategy with a focus on compliance, risk management, and policy

Qualifications

• 12+ years of US financial services regulatory law experience.
• JD from an accredited law school; active bar membership.
• Experience at a federal regulatory agency (CFPB, Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC) or in-house at a payments company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of regulatory attorneys across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advise executives on regulatory risk and strategy.
• Oversee US federal and state regulatory examinations and interactions.
