Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Sr. Director, US Regulatory Legal to provide strategic legal leadership across PayPal's US federal and state regulatory relationships and act as the primary interface with US supervisory authorities.

You will advise executive leadership on regulatory risk and strategy as PayPal expands its regulated products and services, while mentoring a team of attorneys across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in US financial services regulatory law.
• JD from an accredited law school; active bar membership.
• Experience with CFPB, Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, FinCEN or state regulators.
• Strong ability to build relationships with senior US regulators.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of US regulatory attorneys across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advise executives on regulatory risk and strategy.
• Lead regulatory examinations management for US supervisory relationships.
• Represent PayPal in engagements with US regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with Global Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, and Risk teams.
