Job summary

Omnicom is seeking a Senior Director Treasury, Capital Markets, to lead funding, capital allocation, and risk management strategies within its Treasury team. The role reports to the SVP & Treasurer and may be based in Stamford, CT or New York, NY with regular in-office presence.

The candidate will manage debt issuances, credit facilities, liquidity planning, FX hedging, and interactions with banks and rating agencies, supporting strategic decisions at the highest level of corporate finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance, or related field.
• Experience with corporate debt issuance and capital markets transactions.
• Strong understanding of treasury, liquidity management, capital structure, and financial risk management.
• Experience with interest rate and/or foreign exchange derivatives, hedging strategies and execution.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills for evaluating capital allocation, liquidity, and financing scenarios.
• Familiarity with financial statements, credit metrics, leverage ratios, and rating agency methodologies.
• Experience managing relationships with banks, rating agencies, and other financial counterparties.
• Ability to collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and other functions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead funding strategy and debt issuances.
• Manage Corporate Credit Facility sizing, structuring, and administration.
• Develop models for rating leverage metrics and liquidity planning.
• Assess impact of capital allocation on net interest, EPS, leverage, and liquidity.
• Support bank and lender relationships and meetings.
• Prepare analyses for Treasurer, CFO, Finance Committee, and Board on liquidity and debt strategies.
• Monitor debt covenants with legal and accounting.
• Develop hedging strategy recommendations for interest rate risk.
• Execute hedging of net investment exposure using cross-currency swaps and FX forwards.
• Oversee share repurchase activity and optimize program structure and timing.
• Forecast cash, commercial paper, and interest income/expense.
• Develop scenario analyses and financial models for strategic decisions.
