GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead our statewide Transportation practice in Florida.

The role focuses on guiding large roadway design programs, developing marketing strategies, and serving as the client leadership representative with FDOT and local agencies. The ideal candidate has 20+ years of project management experience, a Florida PE license, and the ability to steer teams across engineering, planning, and environmental disciplines.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in project management on complex roadway design projects (FDOT and local agencies) in Florida.
• Proven ability to develop and execute marketing/business development strategies.
• PE License in Florida or reciprocity with active status.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across large, multi-discipline transportation programs.
• Oversee project teams, develop plans, monitor finances, and ensure client satisfaction.
