Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Senior/Executive Director for ExploR&D Translational Medicine in a hybrid role based in Boston, MA or Indianapolis, IN. You will lead medical strategy and safety oversight across assets, guiding early-phase development with external partners and internal experts.

The role requires medical degree, board eligibility, and 3+ years in pharma, with strong GCP knowledge and clinical pharmacology expertise to enable dose selection and risk/benefit assessment.

Qualifications

• Medical doctor or DO with board eligibility/certification.
• Extensive early phase clinical trial experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and patient safety in trials.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership for clinical plans, including safety and efficacy assessment.
• Oversee documentation such as protocols, study reports, and regulatory responses.
• Interface with external biotech partners and Lilly teams to drive asset development.
