Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a senior program leadership professional to oversee design and construction of generation facilities across a multi-year portfolio. You will coordinate with CDOT, municipalities, regulators, customers and internal teams to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget and compliant with all agreements.

The role requires strong project management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive complex utility relocations and power requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
• Eight years combined gas/electric utility experience in engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to motivate others and to manage projects.
• Ability to multitask and interact with diverse work groups.
• Familiarity with regulations applicable to engineering/construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and construction of generation facilities to meet timelines.
• Negotiate utility relocations and new power requirements; manage licenses and easements.
• Coordinate field relocations to minimize downtime and meet project goals.
• Manage timely invoice reimbursements for the project.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and equitably.
