Job summary

Saint Leo University seeks an Associate Vice President of Student Life to provide strategic leadership for the student experience, reporting to the VP of Athletics, Wellness & Recreation. You will oversee student engagement, well-being, and campus life in collaboration with campus partners to create a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in higher education administration, student affairs, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in higher education or student affairs.
• Experience supervising professional staff and leading across multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to Student Affairs in planning and policy development.
• Direct oversight of Student Engagement, Well-Being, and Campus Dining/auxiliary services.
• Lead the CARE Team, TABIT, and crisis response with appropriate partners.
• Ensure compliance with laws, privacy, accessibility, and campus safety policies.
• Mentor staff and assess programs for continuous improvement.
