Colorado College is seeking an Associate Director of Student Financial Services Counseling to lead and supervise the counseling and front-line service operations within the Admission Office. The role oversees federal/state aid programs, ensures timely and compliant delivery of aid, and maintains a limited caseload for complex cases.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience, with strong leadership, training, and collaboration skills for campus partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5 years of experience in a related field
• One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education or one year of coursework may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial aid counseling and student service operations
• Oversee federal, state, and institutional aid programs and processes
• Provide training and quality control to staff and ensure accuracy/compliance
• Counsel students and families on eligibility, options, and deadlines
• Develop policies and procedures with leadership and ensure regulatory compliance
• Represent SFS through campus/community outreach and professional development
