JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY

The Senior Director, Strategy Enablement leads the translation of enterprise strategy into coordinated execution across complex, high-impact transformation programs. The role integrates business strategy, program delivery, technology, process, data, change adoption, and external partner performance to ensure strategic initiatives achieve measurable business outcomes and establish scalable capabilities for future transformation. The core mandate of this role is to create enterprise alignment, execution discipline, and organizational readiness so priority programs deliver sustainable value, not simply completed milestones. This is a hybrid role based in our Oak Park Heights, MN office.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enterprise Program Leadership and Integration: Own end-to-end integration of priority programs across business strategy, technology, process, data, operations, and change. Convert strategic objectives into integrated roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and measurable outcomes; ensure workstreams operate as one program and remain connected to enterprise priorities.

  • Program Governance, Performance, and Risk: Establish and lead the program management operating model, including governance forums, decision rights, planning standards, status reporting, change control, issue and risk management, and escalation paths. Use performance measures and data-driven insights to identify delivery gaps, resolve barriers, and support timely decisions.

  • Change Leadership and Business Readiness: Lead the enterprise change and adoption approach for new processes, technologies, organizational structures, and ways of working. Build sponsor alignment, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, change networks, deployment readiness, transition plans, and sustainment capabilities.

  • Executive and Cross-Functional Alignment: Build trust with senior leaders and facilitate alignment across functions and business units on priorities, tradeoffs, resources, decisions, and outcomes. Translate complex program information into clear executive communication and lead through resistance, ambiguity, and differing levels of organizational readiness.

  • Portfolio Prioritization and Resource Allocation: Partner with enterprise leaders to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities and allocate financial capital, people, technology, and partner capacity to the initiatives with the greatest enterprise value. Surface competing demands and facilitate explicit choices and tradeoffs.

  • External Partner and Vendor Leadership: Co‑lead engagement with consulting, technology, and implementation partners. Set expectations, clarify accountabilities, integrate partner delivery with internal workstreams, monitor performance, and translate between business needs and delivery requirements.

  • Team Leadership and Capability Building: Lead and develop program and portfolio leaders, including direct employees, indirect team members, and contractors. Establish scalable program management practices, tools, talent, and operating capabilities that strengthen execution across current and future transformation waves.
