Job summary

Canopy A&D in Irvine, CA, seeks a Director of Supply Chain to build and run procurement strategy across the platform. You will lead distributed teams, drive supplier risk management, and partner with Planning and Production to align procurement with demand signals.

This senior role requires expertise in regulated manufacturing, ERP systems, and achieving material cost savings while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in management, business, engineering or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• APICS/CPSM/CSCP or similar certification advantageous.
• Proven experience in procurement leadership within regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own procurement strategy across Canopy A&D platform.
• Lead and develop procurement teams at multiple sites.
• Drive inventory cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.
• Identify single/dual-source risk and build continuity plans.
• Standardize procurement configuration within ERP systems and report KPIs.
