Job summary

The role emphasizes proactive governance, risk mitigation, and data-driven decision making.

The position requires 8+ years in biotech/pharma with at least 4 years in program management; a PhD is preferred and PMP a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in biotech or pharma with at least 4 years in program management.
• PhD or other advanced degree preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
• Track record managing internal programs and strategic leadership roles.
• Discovery, Research and Drug Development experience across small molecules.
• Proven cross-functional leadership in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Strong project management, scientific knowledge, and business acumen.
• Proficiency with MS Project and planning/tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Provides program management and matrixed leadership to R&D development teams.
• Predicts and plans solutions to achieve program goals and timelines.
• Drive clarity and remove barriers to ensure team success.
• Interface with management to inform decision making and governance.
• Proactively manage development risks and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate asset strategies with PTL and integrated development plans.
• Facilitate cross-functional program team meetings and drive actions.
• Communicate project issues to executive leadership and drive resolutions.
