Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Principal Director (Principal Director - Engineering Program Management and Systems Engineering) for the Space Missions Directorate to lead Aerospace support to GSFC. This leader will work with GSFC senior leaders, providing strategic program management and systems engineering to solve NASA's hardest problems.

You will direct high-performing teams of directors and staff, ensure program success within cost and schedule, and help shape future missions through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in relevant programs.
• 10+ years of experience advancing US space missions.
• Experience with space system programs (spacecraft/ground).
• Proven ability to deliver results within cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Space Missions directorate.
• Lead directors and staff to support GSFC programs and future missions.
• Collaborate with Aerospace backplane to solve NASA's problems.
• Oversee work execution at GSFC within budget and schedule.
