Job summary

The Ymca Of Greater Montgomery is seeking an Executive Director of Soccer Development in Montgomery, AL to lead all YMCA soccer programs and related activities. This role requires strategic leadership, staff supervision, and strong community partnerships to grow participation and ensure program quality.

You will collaborate with branch leadership, coaches, volunteers, and community partners to expand access, develop players, and align with YMCA mission and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, recreation, business, social services, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of youth sports experience in YMCA or nonprofit settings preferred.
• Knowledge of program development, staff supervision, volunteer engagement, and sound financial practices.
• Ability to relate to diverse communities and manage multiple priorities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all YMCA soccer programs including recreational, competitive, and camps.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise professional coaches.
• Develop marketing strategies and materials for soccer programs.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets for soccer programs.
• Build partnerships and secure sponsorships; support fundraising initiatives.
• Engage volunteers and lead the Soccer Branch Board; ensure program quality and inclusion.
