Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director of the Security Operations Center to oversee cybersecurity operations, threat detection, investigation, response, and recovery. You will partner with infrastructure, cloud, identity, and engineering leaders to strengthen cyber resilience.

You will build a high-performing SOC, establish processes, metrics, and governance to balance risk and business goals while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience in medium-large environments.
• 5+ years leading SOC, IR, or Threat Detection teams.
• 3+ years building and maturing security operations capabilities including monitoring, threat hunting, and investigations.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms (SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR) and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOC strategy, operations, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate detection, investigation, and response to incidents.
• Develop standards, processes, and controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cloud, identity, and engineering teams to improve security visibility and response capabilities.
