Job summary

Manheim Township School District seeks a Director of Business Operations to oversee district-wide financial and business operations. Reporting to the COO, this executive will drive the annual budget process, supervise funds such as the Food Service fund, and enhance financial reporting for board decisions.

The role requires advanced financial modeling, PDE/GASB compliance knowledge, and proven leadership to support the district’s educational mission.

Qualifications

Master's degree required.
3+ years of progressively responsible accounting or financial management experience.
3+ years in K-12 public school finance or governmental accounting.
Knowledge of governmental accounting standards, budgeting, auditing and internal controls.
Proficiency with financial management software.
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budget development process.
Oversee complex fund management including the Food Service fund.
Direct supervision of related administrative functions and drive operational excellence.
Provide board-ready financial information and ensure PDE/GASB compliance and reporting.
