• Deep expertise in medical professional liability claims management at both individual-case and portfolio levels.
• Ability to lead AI/tools deployment in risk management with proper human review and privacy safeguards.
• Strong executive presence and ability to translate complex risk matters into clear leadership recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the claims management function to support higher levels of retained risk.
• Develop reserves, liability analyses, and settlement strategies with carriers and panel counsel.
• Oversee AI and analytics to strengthen claims work and trend detection.
• Design and implement a clinical risk management program with measurable risk reduction.
• Coordinate risk management with Legal, Finance, and executive leadership.
