Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a Director of Retirement Plans to strategize, govern, and evolve U.S. and Puerto Rico retirement programs including defined benefit, defined contribution, and student loan plans.

The role partners with Benefits & Wellness, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external providers to deliver competitive, financially sustainable programs. Responsibilities include vendor management, regulatory compliance, and driving program governance and participant experience

Formación

• 10+ years of retirement, benefits, or related field experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in Fortune 500 environments.
• Proven experience managing retirement vendor relationships and governance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Puerto Rico retirement regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead retirement plan strategy, design, governance, and compliance for U.S. and Puerto Rico.
• Oversee vendor selection processes, including RFPs, contracts, transitions, and implementations.
• Oversee defined benefit, defined contribution, and student loan programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and optimize participant experience.
• Collaborate with Benefits & Wellness, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external providers.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in retirement programs.
• Oversee retirement program budgets, funding, and risk management controls.
• Direct retirement plans team and mentoring of two direct reports.
