Job summary

Elanco, a global animal health leader, seeks a Senior Director – Regional Consulting Veterinarians (RCVs) for the US Pet Health team. The role leads veterinary technical operations, hires and coaches RCVs, and collaborates with sales, marketing, and training to advance regional strategies.

Travel is required for US regions, with primary location in Indianapolis/Greenfield area. A veterinary degree and US licensure are mandatory, with extensive leadership in a field-based veterinary setting

Qualifications

Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary program with the corresponding veterinary degree.
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the United States.

Responsibilities

Build and develop a world-class veterinary technical team.
Supervise field consulting veterinary staff including hiring and performance management.
Lead and coach consulting veterinarians to provide technical support for Pet Health Sales.
Collaborate with Elanco Training for assessment and knowledge needs.
Interact with Pet Health leadership and colleagues across Elanco.
Assist in development and communication of regional strategy for RCVs.
Collaborate with Pet Health Sales and Marketing to support US business.
Advise on KOL and student interactions at US veterinary colleges.
Support in development of the KOL network for Elanco portfolio categories.
Contribute to marketing strategies and material development.
Manage OPEX budget and resources for efficiency.
