Job summary

Colorado Premium seeks a Facilities and Refrigeration Director to lead maintenance, PSM/RMP programs, and ammonia systems across all Colorado locations. You will drive capital projects, manage budgets, and provide technical plant-management support.

Based in Denver, you will supervise contractors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and enhance reliability through preventative maintenance and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5–10 years of PSM/RMP/EPA/NFPA/IIAR ammonia refrigeration management experience.
• Ability to interpret advanced mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals.
• Knowledge of OSHA/PSM/EPA/HAZMAT regulations.
• Ammonia Operator 1 & 2 certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance perspective for industrial refrigeration design, infrastructure, and compliance.
• Develop and implement capital projects to improve safety, efficiency, and output.
• Solicit bids, award contracts, and manage projects to completion; provide monthly status reports.
• Oversee facility equipment maintenance (boilers, HVAC, pumps, compressors) and budget.
• Supervise contractors, ensure bid compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all equipment.
• Ensure safe ammonia system operation and regulatory compliance.
