Job summary

National Health Foundation seeks a Director of Recuperative Care to lead a trauma-informed, harm-reduction program for individuals experiencing homelessness. The role oversees medical oversight, social services, housing navigation, and guest services in a 24/7 facility, driving quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include staffing leadership, budget stewardship, regulatory adherence, and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, compassionate, high-quality care and successful transitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, social work, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive management experience in healthcare or related complex service environment.
• Minimum three years supervising managers, supervisors, or department leaders.
• Experience managing budgets, audits, contracts, quality assurance, and performance metrics.
• Experience with homelessness, behavioral health, or vulnerable populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior operational leadership for the recuperative care program and ensure 24/7/365 operations.
• Directly supervise managers, leaders, and staff across multiple departments.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, compliance, safety, and guest services.
• Ensure contractual, regulatory, and quality standards are met and sustained.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with hospitals, funders, and community partners.
