Job summary

Merck & Co. Rahway, NJ seeks a Senior Director, Group Leader to lead the Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics - Oncology (QP2 Oncology) team, applying MIDD and translational PK/PD to inform key development decisions.

You will mentor QP2 scientists, ensure high-quality deliverables, and partner with Clinical Development, Translational Medicine, Biostatistics, and Regulatory to align strategies across programs.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with ≥10 years in pharmaceutical industry or Master’s with ≥15 years in pharmaceutical industry, with leadership experience.
• Oncology knowledge and ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience developing quantitative strategies influencing pipeline decisions and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape quantitative pharmacology strategy across oncology programs to inform development decisions.
• Develop and implement integrated MIDD strategies across development stages.
• Ensure alignment of modeling strategies with regulatory expectations and business priorities.
• Maintain understanding of global regulatory expectations for small molecules, biologics, and new modalities.
