Job summary

Chamber of Progress seeks a Senior Director of Communications to lead the organization's aggressive communications strategy on technology, financial, and civic innovation policy at federal, state, and local levels. You will oversee national and international media relations, litigation communications, and our report launches.

This role manages the Communications Director, shapes the organization's voice, and drives rapid-response initiatives across digital, broadcast, and earned media channels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Senior Director: At least 10 years of post-college work experience.
• Experience pitching and working with journalists.
• Experience creating and driving public affairs campaigns to achieve public policy goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive the organization's media and communications strategy.
• Devise creative strategies to influence press coverage and policy debates.
• Oversee launch processes for reports and polling; maximize visibility.
• Supervise Communications Director and manage staff involved in state/local comms, social media, and op-ed.
