Job summary

The VP of Property Management at DLC Management Corp. will oversee all property management activity across a regional portfolio and support KPI growth initiatives.

Lead and develop staff, review contracts and budgets, and manage relationships with tenants, vendors and investment partners. Drive operational excellence, enforce policy, and run due diligence for capital markets transactions in collaboration with SVP and Regional PM; travel regularly as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPM or CCIM certification preferred.
• 10+ years of property operations experience on open-air retail centers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property management across regional portfolio and support KPI growth initiatives.
• Lead and develop Property Management staff with varying levels of experience and skill sets.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, investment partners and internal senior leadership.
• Review and approve material service and construction contracts proposed by Property Managers including scope, schedule and budget.
• Review and approve annual operating and capital expense budgets.
• Monitor key operational and financial performance metrics for Regional Property Managers.
• Manage strategic regional and national vendor relationships.
• Enforce all Property Management and DLC policies.
• Champion corporate and cross-departmental initiatives.
• Work with SVP to develop best-in-class departmental policies and procedures to maximize performance and productivity.
• Run point on due diligence efforts for all capital markets transactions in collaboration with SVP and Regional Property Manager.
• Continuously evaluate the portfolio and team operations for opportunities to improve efficiencies.
