Job summary

ICANN in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Director, Product Management to establish and lead the Product Management function across Engineering & IT. The role defines the discipline, aligns technology investments with business priorities, and drives measurable value.

The Senior Director will own product strategy, portfolio governance, roadmaps, and AI-enabled initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to deliver outcomes aligned with ICANN’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Business or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in product management, technology leadership, portfolio management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum eight (8) years of people leadership experience managing managers, professional staff, and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise product organizations and product-led transformation initiatives.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Product Management strategy across Engineering & IT and establish governance practices.
• Maintain a comprehensive portfolio of technology products aligned to ICANN priorities.
• Develop and govern roadmaps balancing objectives, user needs, and investments.
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into actionable visions and investments.
• Establish frameworks for AI-enabled capabilities and measure outcomes.
• Drive product governance, value realization, and data-informed decision making.
