Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to drive product development strategy and enterprise integration across healthcare adjudication platforms. You will guide cross-functional teams, shape capability roadmaps, and ensure compliant, scalable delivery aligned with business priorities.

The role requires strong communication, experience in large-scale implementations, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Travel up to 75% is required.

Job description

• Lead strategy and execution for an integrated product development roadmap and connected cross-functional delivery plans
• Lead and develop teams responsible for product development and integration of newly acquired adjudication technology
• Set strategic direction, priorities, and operating rhythms for product development, integration, implementation planning, business product ownership, and product support readiness
• Partner with senior leaders across business, operations, BPO, technology, architecture, implementation, product support, legal/compliance, regulatory, client teams, and service functions
• Oversee business requirements, capability definitions, feature decomposition, acceptance criteria, process impacts, integration requirements, and traceability
• Translate North Star capabilities, business priorities, regulatory needs, operational requirements, and implementation timelines into delivery plans
• Lead enterprise integration planning across platforms, downstream processes, operational teams, client migrations, data, reporting, controls, and support models
• Ensure product decisions consider business value, operational feasibility, compliance, technology dependencies, client impacts, and scalability
• Track delivery progress, requirement readiness, integration risks, decisions, dependencies, support needs, and follow-up actions; escalates blockers
• Partner with change management, communications, training, implementation, and support teams on readiness, go-live, stabilization, and adoption
• Create clarity on outcomes, priorities, dependencies, and decision rights while minimizing operational disruption

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• 8+ years of professional experience required
• Demonstrated experience leading teams through product development, business product ownership, enterprise integration, technology enablement, operational transformation, large-scale implementation, or platform modernization programs required
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex product, integration, and technology topics into clear, practical guidance required
• Ability to manage multiple teams, workstreams, dependencies, timelines, issues, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment required
• Bachelor's degree referred
• Proven ability to build, coach, and motivate high-performing teams preferred
• Experience developing product strategies, capability roadmaps, business requirements, feature backlogs, acceptance criteria, dependency plans, delivery scorecards, and readiness measures preferred
• Experience partnering with technology, architecture, operations, implementation, product support, compliance, regulatory, and client-facing teams preferred
• Understanding of PBM workflows, claims adjudication, benefit setup, pricing, client configuration, operational controls, downstream integration, product support, or healthcare operations preferred
• Comfort leading through ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete information, escalating risks, and driving alignment across competing priorities preferred
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Home internet connection, if working from home, must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
