Job summary

Four Hands is seeking a Director of Product Design & Development to translate brand vision into cohesive seasonal collections across indoor/outdoor, lighting, and textiles. You will lead design strategy, drive material libraries, and partner across Merchandising, Sourcing, and Marketing to ensure market-ready products that meet margin, quality, and launch timing.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in international product development, with a proven ability to build and guide creative teams

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in international product development and design leadership.
Strong ability to translate brand vision into market-ready collections.
Proven track record building creative teams and leading design programs end-to-end.

Responsibilities

Translate annual creative brief into seasonal design stories across categories.
Guide form language, materials, finishes, hardware, and category coverage before development.
Own design language and design standards across the line.
Partner with Sourcing, Merchandising, and PD Operations on calendar milestones.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to tell brand stories and enable education for the sales team.
Review CAD and render files for final design intent and manufacturing specs.
