Job summary

Biogen is seeking an Associate Director of Data Science & AI to spearhead cutting-edge ML and analytics initiatives across the U.S. Commercial organization.

You will collaborate with Insights & Analytics, Enterprise Data Management, IT, and Medical Affairs to build predictive tools that inform strategy and accelerate growth. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in data science/AI, strong Python/SQL, and experience in pharma/biotech commercial operations.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
• 8+ years of data science, analytics or AI experience.
• 5+ years supporting U.S. Commercial in pharma/biotech.
• 3+ years leading technical teams or large initiatives.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead ML and predictive analytics design, development, validation and deployment for the U.S. Commercial function.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and analytics to patient populations and provider behavior.
• Establish best practices for model development, monitoring and governance.
• Develop analytics and AI solutions to generate actionable insights into patient and provider behavior.
