Job summary

Biogen in Cambridge, MA invites a visionary Senior Director to drive external growth and innovation across commercial platforms. You will shape strategic initiatives, gain cross-functional alignment, and implement AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate growth in our therapeutic areas.

You will partner with marketing, medical affairs, operations and leadership to deploy new technologies, scale high-impact solutions, and measure ROI, all while navigating market dynamics and payer considerations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred.
12+ years in healthcare/pharma/biotech or related consulting.
Experience across healthcare commercial disciplines (marketing, access, strategy, business development, consulting).
Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystems.
Ability to drive change and operate through ambiguity.
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with external partners.
Knowledge of AI/ML in healthcare, EHRs, and digital health tools.
Familiarity with U.S. access and reimbursement dynamics.
Experience designing scalable operating models with measurable ROI.
Up to 5% travel expected.

Responsibilities

Understand Biogen’s commercial strategy and growth drivers to identify opportunities.
Develop and implement an innovation strategy aligned with Biogen’s mission and objectives.
Identify and scale AI-enabled solutions to shorten diagnosis path.
Re-architect how work gets done with AI, process redesign, and new operating models.
Lead tech implementations and partnerships; build ROI-tracking methodologies.
Engage external stakeholders to identify high-potential opportunities and partnerships.
