Job summary

USP in Rockville, MD seeks a Senior Director for the PHAROS Program to lead a cross-disciplinary effort integrating sensing, AI/ML analytics, and hardware/software development toward a field-deployable prototype. You will oversee end-to-end program execution with consortium partners, establish governance, manage risk, and ensure milestones are met within 4.5 years.

A Bachelor's degree is required; minimum 12 years of leadership; strong communication; experience in pharma science or regulatory

• Strong executive, technical, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated PHAROS execution, including scope, milestones, deliverables, resources, dependencies, risks, and sponsor commitments to ensure the program deliverable is realized.
• Coordinate USP teams, technical leaders, and external consortium partners to deliver an integrated program outcome.
• Lead development of PHAROS as a hardware-software-data system from requirements to prototype integration, verification, validation, and field testing.
• Drive iterative design-build-test cycles toward a field-deployable solution.
• Establish governance, risk management, and partner accountability.
• Represent PHAROS with ARPA-H and USP leadership.
