Job summary

Synopsys seeks a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead a strategic, global people function within a defense-oriented, highly regulated environment. You will partner with executive leadership, shared services, and security/compliance teams to align workforce strategy with mission execution and compliant operations.

The role focuses on talent acquisition, compensation, performance, succession, and leadership development, leveraging AI-enabled insights while upholding cleared workforce

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR experience in a regulated, complex environment.
• Experience supporting aerospace/defense/government contracting contexts.
• Advisor to executives and leading enterprise-scale HR programs.
• Experience with cleared/sensitive workforces and proxy governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior HR leader to executives on workforce strategy and engagement.
• Translate priorities into a multi-year people strategy for execution and leadership depth.
• Partner with shared services to deliver HR programs for cleared personnel and compliance.
• Leverage analytics and AI-enabled insights to identify hiring bottlenecks and retention risks.
• Represent HR in reviews, workforce planning, M&A/integration, and enterprise risk discussions.
• Lead HR strategy for defense/government contracting with security-aware culture.
• Advise leaders on confidential employee relations and executive-level decisions.
