Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Lead Director, Product Innovation to own the full lifecycle of payor-focused product concepts from ideation to launch. You will identify unmet needs, shape concepts, and lead evaluation and launch readiness with strategy, product development, partnerships, and shared service teams.

This individual contributor role may be remote or hybrid anywhere in the US, depending on location and hub access.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product strategy or related leadership roles.
• Strong experience in payor-focused products, healthcare solutions, or related markets.
• Proven ability to lead concepts from ideation through launch.
• Experience working across strategy, product development, partnerships, data/technology, and shared service teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and executive communication skills.
• Ability to influence without direct ownership and drive alignment across teams.
• Strong prioritization and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new product concepts from ideation through launch for payor-focused solutions.
• Identify unmet needs and strategic opportunities aligned to priorities.
• Shape and refine concepts into well-defined opportunities with launch paths.
• Partner with strategy teams to align priorities with market opportunities.
• Support concept evaluation, planning, readiness, and launch execution with development teams.
• Collaborate with partnerships and shared service teams on concept development.
• Drive cross-functional coordination to move concepts to launch-ready solutions.
• Define requirements, priorities, dependencies, and decision points for innovation.
• Assist in creating business cases, concept materials, and launch recommendations.
• Ensure smooth handoff of launched innovations to long-term owners.
