Zuora is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead multiple teams building and operating our payments platform in Foster City, CA. You will shape technical strategy, raise the bar for performance, reliability, and software quality, and drive organizational health while leveraging AI tooling to accelerate delivery.

The role requires a track record of leading large, high‑throughput distributed systems, strong architectural judgement, and the ability to recruit and retain top engineering

Qualificações

• Experience leading multiple engineering teams and managers with responsibility for strategy and execution.
• Track record of building high-throughput, highly available distributed systems with performance improvements.
• Strong technical judgment in architecture, design, and code quality.
• Experience establishing engineering and operational excellence across complex systems and third-party integrations.
• Practical experience improving engineering productivity through AI tooling with measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated success recruiting, retaining, and developing engineers and managers.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
