Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is recruiting a Director of Contracting to oversee contract development, review and negotiation for the Performance Network and affiliated entities.

The role reports to the Vice President of Contracting and requires strong negotiation, leadership, and collaboration with legal, finance, and clinical teams. Expect to manage complex managed care contracts and drive payer strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5–8 years related work experience required and 1–3 years supervisory/management experience.
• Negotiation and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage BILHPN contracts with internal partners and external payers.
• Coordinate contract approvals and sign-off processes with finance, legal, and governance.
• Develop and present contract terms, rates, and risk-sharing methodologies to leadership.
• Lead contract committees and prepare materials for senior management and Board reviews.
