Job summary

BioTalent seeks a Senior Director, Oncology Pharmacology to lead nonclinical oncology pharmacology across a diverse portfolio. You will shape development strategy, drive pharmacology plans, and support programs from discovery through IND-enabling development and beyond.

The role requires a PhD and 10+ years in nonclinical oncology pharmacology, with a track record of advancing assets and contributing to regulatory submissions. This is a fully remote opportunity within the United States.

Qualifications

PhD in Pharmacology, Immunology, Biology, Biochemistry, Cancer Biology, or a related discipline.
10+ years of industry experience in nonclinical oncology pharmacology.
Proven track record advancing oncology assets from discovery through IND-enabling development.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee studies evaluating efficacy, pharmacodynamics, mechanism of action, and biomarker strategies.
Drive translational approaches that support candidate selection, indication expansion, and clinical development decisions.
Collaborate closely with Toxicology, DMPK, Clinical Pharmacology, Biomarkers, Regulatory Affairs, and Clinical Development teams.
Manage external CRO and academic partnerships.
Contribute to regulatory submissions, including INDs, NDAs, and BLAs.
Mentor and develop scientific talent while serving as a key leader within a matrixed R&D environment.
