Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Senior Director, Licensing Officer - Oncology to identify and advance high-value licensing, acquisition, and strategic collaboration opportunities that support the Oncology strategy.

The role requires deep scientific expertise and strong business judgment, with external representation to potential partners and responsibility for leading or supporting complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or related field.
• Deep understanding of Oncology landscape, drug discovery, R&D, and clinical endpoints.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical licensing processes; able to influence at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical, clinical, and commercial assessment of Oncology licensing and acquisition opportunities.
• Establish and maintain screening processes and align screening strategy with stakeholders.
• Lead due diligence teams and present assessments to leadership for approval.
• Participate in or lead transactions including business case development, valuation, and contract negotiation.
