Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Director of Quality Initiatives and System Improvement to oversee hospital-based quality work and drive system-wide improvement. They will lead data-driven redesigns of patient care processes and mentor teams while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role reports to the regional Chief Quality Officer and aims to sustain cost-effective, high-quality patient care across the system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Public Health, or other advanced health-related degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in patient safety and quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to all hospital-based quality activities and system improvement initiatives.
• Lead the redesign of patient care processes, analyze data to inform improvements, and mentor teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies and support the Performance Improvement Plan.
